Sponsor a program →What's in a child ID kit
A child ID kit gives parents one place to record the information that matters most if a child is ever missing: fingerprints, a current photo, a physical description, medical notes and a DNA sample. Parents fill it out at home or at your event, and keep it themselves.
See kit details →No budget? Find a sponsor.
Many child ID programs are paid for by a local bank, credit union or business that wants to support families in its community. Their name appears on the kit next to yours. Tell us you need a sponsor when you request a quote and we'll help you make the ask.

Branded take-home kits that put your department's name in front of every family you meet — at National Night Out, school visits, safety fairs and community events.
Get a Law-Enforcement QuoteWhy departments run child ID programs
Build trust before there's an emergency.
A child ID kit is a positive, practical reason for families to talk with officers.
Give parents something they'll keep.
Unlike a flyer, a completed kit stays in a family's records for years — with your department's name and non-emergency number on it.
Families arrive prepared.
If a child ever goes missing, parents who have a current photo, fingerprints, description and DNA sample in one place can hand investigators what they need right away.

No line item for it? Let a sponsor cover it.
Local banks, credit unions and businesses often want to support community policing. A sponsor's name can appear on the kit alongside your department's, and we'll help you put together the request.
Privacy that protects your department too
Your department never has to collect or store children's biometric information. Parents complete the kit and keep it at home, and bring it forward only if it's ever needed.

Child ID Kits for Schools, Districts and PTAs
Send a child ID kit home with every student. Parents fill it out at home and keep it — your school never handles children's personal records.
Get a School QuoteA simple safety program families appreciate
Child ID kits are one of the easiest safety programs a school can offer. There's no event to staff and no data to manage. Kits go home in backpacks or at a family night, and parents do the rest.
Three ways schools use them
Take-home program.
A kit goes home with every student, usually with a parent letter at the start of the year.
Family night or safety fair.
Parents complete kits on site with volunteers or your school resource officer helping with fingerprints.
District-wide rollout.
One order, branded for the district, shipped to each school.

Great for PTAs and PTOs
A child ID program is a visible, family-friendly project that's easy for volunteers to run. Many PTAs partner with a local credit union or business so the kits are free to families.
Built for privacy
The school distributes kits; it doesn't collect them. Fingerprints, photos and DNA samples stay with each family.

Share your enrollment and timing, and we'll send a quote within one business day — plus sponsor options if you need them.
Host a Child ID Event Your Community Will Remember
Rotary and Kiwanis clubs, churches, libraries, fire departments and nonprofits use branded child ID kits to give families something practical — and to show up for their community.
Start a ProgramWhy it works for community groups
It's easy to run.
A table, a few volunteers and a stack of kits is all you need. Parents can also finish kits at home.
It reaches families you want to serve.
Child ID events draw parents with young children to your building, booth or festival.
It keeps your name in the home.

Protect Families in the Communities You Serve
Sponsor child ID kits for local police departments, schools and community groups. Your name goes home with every family — on something they'll keep.
Request a Sponsorship ProposalCommunity support people actually notice
Most community sponsorships end up as a logo on a banner. A sponsored child ID kit is different: parents take it home, fill it out and keep it in a safe place, with your name alongside the local police department, school or organization that handed it to them.
Who sponsors child ID programs
Banks and credit unions
Branch events, school partnerships, member appreciation and community reinvestment initiatives.
Insurance agencies
A natural fit for a brand built on protecting families.
Healthcare providers
Pediatric practices, hospitals and urgent-care networks distributing kits at health fairs and well-child visits.
Local businesses and employers
Real estate firms, dealerships, sports teams and anyone who wants to be known for supporting families.

Planning timeline
For an event, request a quote as early as you can. Lead times vary by order, and we'll confirm yours in the quote. Leave extra time for sponsor approval, proofing and shipping. For National Night Out (the first Tuesday in August in most communities) and back-to-school, order in spring or early summer.
After your event
We'll check in to hear how it went and help you plan the next one. Many organizations make it an annual program.
A Child ID Kit Keeps Your Child's Most Important Information in One Place
Fingerprints, a current photo, a physical description, medical details and a DNA sample — recorded at home and kept by you.
What a child ID kit is
A child ID kit is a simple booklet or folder where you record the details investigators ask for first if a child goes missing. Having it ready means you're not searching for a recent photo or trying to remember details in a stressful moment.
How to fill it out
- {{ s.n }} {{ s.lead }} {{ s.a }}
Keep it current
Update the photo and description at least once a year and after big changes like a new haircut or glasses. Young children change fast.
Your information stays with you
You fill out the kit and you keep it. It isn't sent to us, a lab or any database. You decide if and when to share it.

Helping Communities Protect What Matters Most
DNAIDKit helps police departments, schools and community organizations put child ID kits into the hands of the families they serve.
We started with a simple observation. Child ID kits are one of the most practical safety tools a parent can have, yet the organizations best placed to hand them out often don't know where to start — or how to pay for them. We make it simple: one point of contact for branded kits, a clear process, and help connecting with local sponsors who want to support families.
What we believe
Families own their information.
We never collect or store children's fingerprints, DNA or personal records. Parents complete the kit and keep it.
Programs beat products.
A kit handed out by a trusted local officer, teacher or volunteer does more good than one sitting on a shelf. We help you run a program, not just place an order.
Local partnerships work.
When a police department, a school and a local business work together, more families get kits and everyone involved gets credit for it.
